What Is velto? The Non-Custodial Web3 Interface Built for Real Traders

Most crypto apps make Web3 feel harder than it needs to be. Velto is built to change that.
Whether you are new to DeFi or you have been trading on-chain for years, velto gives you a non-custodial Web3 interface that connects to your wallet and puts everything you need in one place. No middlemen, no custody handovers, no unnecessary friction.
Velto in a nutshell
It connects to the wallet you control so you can manage crypto, interact with DeFi protocols, and trade on-chain from your phone.
Here’s what sets velto apart:
- Non-custodial: Your connected wallet holds the keys. Velto never takes custody. No banks, no centralized exchanges.
- Secure Biometric lock, encryption, and backup phrase support built in.
- Mobile-first: One-tap access to the Web3 universe, in your pocket.
- Reliable network: Take advantage of Solana’s quick transactions (and more networks soon).
How velto Works
When you connect a wallet in velto, the wallet app generates a public key (a.k.a. your wallet address), which you can use to receive crypto. You’ll also have a private key or the secret code that proves you own the assets in your wallet.
Unlike traditional wallets tied to centralized exchanges (where they hold your private keys for you), Velto never touches or stores your keys. You’re the only one with access. That’s what makes it a non-custodial interface that works with your wallet by design.
Everything you do in velto, like sending crypto, receiving tokens, or routing transactions through integrated DeFi protocols, is signed using your private key in your connected wallet. That means every transaction is verifiable, secure, and remains under your control while protocols execute on-chain.
Why Use velto, You Mean?
A lot of crypto wallets are either too technical, too clunky, or too locked down for real use. velto is designed to sit in the middle ground: clean UI, easy navigation, and onboarding that actually makes sense, without stripping out the functionality active traders need.
Through velto's interface you can:
- Send and receive crypto quickly from your connected wallet
- Interact with DeFi protocols through velto's interface
- Track your activity with a user-friendly dashboard
Security is also built into the core. Your data and assets are protected with end-to-end encryption, biometric authentication, and regular updates.
Disclaimer: Velto is offered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis for self-custody of virtual assets. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, nor does it execute or custody transactions on your behalf.
Virtual-asset transactions are irreversible and highly volatile. Loss of your private keys or signing malicious transactions can result in permanent loss of assets. You bear sole responsibility for: (i) safeguarding keys and verifying transaction details, and (ii) assessing and complying with all applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. Consult qualified independent advisers before acting on any information or prompts generated by this software.
Velto and its affiliates disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, the software or its content. By downloading or using the wallet, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
How to Get Started
1. Download the App
Search for velto on the App Store or Google Play and open the app.
2. Tap “Create a New Wallet” or Connect One
No email, no phone number, no registration required. Create a new non-custodial wallet inside the app or connect an existing compatible wallet.
3. Write Down Your Recovery Phrase
You will receive a 12-word recovery phrase. Write it down and store it somewhere offline. If you lose your device, this phrase is how you recover access to your wallet and assets.
4. Secure Your Wallet
Add a strong passcode, enable Face ID or fingerprint unlock, and set up any other security options.
5. You’re In
Send, receive, trade, and explore, fully in control of your assets.
The Bottom Line
Velto gives you the full capability of a non-custodial Web3 wallet without the technical headaches. Control stays where it belongs, with you, while the interface handles the complexity.
If you are ready to take ownership of your digital assets and interact with DeFi on your terms, connect your wallet and get started.
